The road. Syunik region. The Wings of Tatev.

Last Sunday we planned a trip to Tatev. The hotel gave us a driver's contact. A day trip costs 45,000 dram, 15,000 per person. The route: Tatev - Devil's Bridge - Shaki waterfall.

Let's start with the road itself. The road through the Syunik region is very scenic; this area is quite mountainous, with many mesmerizing and mysterious gorges. In the photo - the Syunik range. When we drove up to the "Wings of Tatev" cable car and waited our turn, we enjoyed the view from above - the beauty takes your breath away.

Here, unlike in Jermuk, it's already spring, with greenery and blossoming.
We bought a ticket only to the monastery, since our driver talked us into taking us along a very beautiful serpentine road.

A one-way ticket is 6,500 dram per person, round trip 9,000 dram. The views from the cable car are mesmerizing; the ride is about 10-12 minutes. The cabin holds 25 people. The length of the line is 5,700 m.

We definitely recommend taking the cable car. So as not to cram it all in, the serpentine road, the Devil's Bridge and the waterfall get a separate post.
