Yerevan. A walk through Davtashen

Barev, everyone!

I think my love for dogs appeared after spending time with him. With Loy. The good boy we walk together with our friends. Usually it's a short walk in Nor Arabkir park, or a trip out to Jrvezh.

Last Saturday our friends and we spontaneously got together for a walk in the sun. We suggested strolling through non-touristy Davtashen. To our surprise, the guys brought Loy along.

The walk took about 3 hours along the private-housing sector. Its climax was supposed to be an unfinished chapel in the middle of a yard and a fence made of radiators.

To start - the view of the Hrazdan gorge from the bridge leading into Davtashen. As always, it takes your breath away. The narrow little streets of the private sector. The sign above the cellar appeared, apparently, after drivers rolled down into it a few times. The little tower is marked on the map as a monument; on the wall next to it - ancient stones. We cross from Davtashen into Achapnyak. At the entrance to the district stands a Colosseum. Seemingly very prosaic warehouses and a hotel. But it looks very impressive. Goal achieved. We looked at the church and the fence made of radiators. We head back by a slightly different route to minimize interactions with the dogs on the wastelands. They're not as sweet as the fluffballs that lie peacefully outside the restaurants in the city center. We saw the local Hotel California, the view of the road and the mountains, the beautiful Tigran Petrosyan square.
